False. Putting a giant tax cut for wealthy people is not to the right of a SINGLE American Republican. Rather, it is the beating heart of their evil playbook. The “Bush Tax Cuts” borrowed Trillions to pass the coffers of the wealthy, and to lower capital gains taxes on sale of stock or assets and lower dividends taxes to nothing for shareholders of all sizes. When Trump got in office, the ONLY legislation Republicans could pass with a triple majority in our political branches was a Whopper of a tax cut for rich people called the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act. Unsurprisingly, the jobs never arrived. But the TCJA wasn’t funded either, it was borrowed, at a cost that America could’ve instead chosen to cancel every (deceptively marketed and purely evil) student loan in the country.
Passing tax cuts for the rich with borrowed money isn’t to the right of Republicans, it’s right at the heart of what Republicans did to hurt Americans for the last 20 years unless those Americans are wealthy Republican donors.
